A Day in the Life of Grace
Hi! I live in New York City. Every morning I get up out of my bunk bed and get
dressed. The magnificent school I go to is P.S.9. It’s near Central Park. This is the second largest park in New York City. On Wednesday after school, I go to my soccer practice there. Speaking of soccer, my team is soon going to meet the New York Power. They’re the first professional team for women. They play for New York and they have Tiffany Millbret!!!In school, I take Spanish, computers, gym, art, music and library.
Going back to places near P.S.9, the
Museum of Natural History is there. They have very cool things there. There used to be one part where they hid fake dinosaur bones in rock and kids can dig up the bones archeologists. My class goes on very cool trips. One time, we went to Van Cortland Manor which is a house from the 1770’s. You can do tinsmithing there and visit the general store.
Going back to after school, I go to
Central Park sometimes. They have this really cool playground there where there’s a rope you can swing back and forth on. You can also climb on it while it’s swinging. I also go to Hebrew school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The school is called SAJ. I learn about the Bible there and how to write in Hebrew. I also learn prayers. On Thursday nights, I watch Survivor. I want Tina to win. She’s not the best Survivor but she's the best person. My most least favorite part of New York City is Midtown. The only thing there is office buildings. The famous ones are the World Trade Center and the
Empire State Building. The only good part of this place is the ride in the Empire State Building. I haven’t gone on it but my friend has. She says that it looks like you’re riding through New York City. That’s a day in the life of Grace!
